Jesse Gilbert works in sound and software design, creating flexible tools that are activated in live performance, via network interaction, or in installation settings. His work has recently focused on developing SpectralGL, an interactive 3D visual instrument, on building multi-channel immersive sonic environments, and on composing electro-acoustic music for the moving image.
Greenmeme - Freya Bardell and Brian Howe
Freya Bardell and Brian Howe are the founders and creative directors of Greenmeme, a cross disciplinary public practice, based in Los Angeles. The focus of Greenmeme is in the design and creation of artistic environments that encourage public stewardship, through sculptures that promote both environmental and cultural awareness.
Nancy Popp is a Los Angeles-based artist who creates performances, videos, drawings, and photographs. Her work draws upon the rich traditions of durational, corporeal performance and political intervention to explore relations between body and site, often incorporating public and architectural spaces.
Michael French is an artist and designer who lives and works in Los Angeles. Michael has been exploring practical and theoretical applications at the intersection of art and technology in various media since the first internet boom of the mid 90s. His current work with augmented reality applications and sensor-based interactive video installations draws upon both his professional background as an interface and game designer, and his personal interest in cross-media social art experiments.
